Dr. Houri Fatourachi attended University of Missouri, Kansas City and received her bachelor of arts in biology and doctor of dental surgery degree in 1999. Dr. Houri continued her studies in Boston University and completed her training in advanced pediatric dentistry in 2001.
Dr. Houri is a board certified diplomat from American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Fatourachi has been practicing Pediatric dentistry for the last 10 years in San Diego County. She previously was an associate at another local pediatric office, before deciding to open her own practice in 2009. She firmly believes every child needs different approaches in dealing with their dental needs as well as their growth and development, and prevention is the foundation for lifelong oral health. She applies these principles to her practice every day.
